Symbolizing rebirth and new beginnings, the daffodil is fundamentally synonymous with spring. Even though their botanic name is narcissus, daffodils are sometimes called jonquils, and in England, because of their long association with Lent, they're known as the "Lent Lily." Folk lore connects the daffodil to not only a sign of winter's end but a lucky emblem of future prosperity found throughout the world. The City of Oxford is known for her beautiful display of narcissus each spring. Many of these flower bulbs need to be replaced. Thus. the Oxford Garden Club in cooperation with the City of Oxford will plant naracissus as a living memorial for those you would like to honor.  Honor someone with a lasting memorial with the purchase of 2 dozen daffodils that will be planted in their honor.

Enclose on your paypal order  who the memorial is honoring and an address for a notice to be sent to the person or family of the person that was honored.
